JustTheTime shows the current time anywhere in the world. Every page is built from data and calculations rather than written text: local time, UTC offset, daylight saving transitions, sunrise and sunset are all derived, not stored.
Time zones come from the IANA database, so daylight saving rules stay correct as governments change them. Sunrise, sunset and solar noon are computed from coordinates using the NOAA solar position algorithm, accurate to about a minute. Clocks in your browser update every second; the page itself is static HTML.

Place names, coordinates, population and time zone assignments come from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Alternative and local spellings — Warszawa for Warsaw, München for Munich — come from the same source and make those cities findable in the search box.
Approximate location from your IP address on the home page uses the free IP to City Lite database: IP Geolocation by DB-IP, also licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Time zone rules come from the IANA Time Zone Database through your browser and the build environment.
Pages are generated ahead of time with Astro and served as plain HTML — no framework runs in your browser. During the build, city data is read from a local SQLite database; that database never reaches the server.
The only dynamic parts are two small PHP endpoints: one returns server time for clock synchronization, the other resolves an approximate location from an IP address. Everything else — the live clock, search, time zone conversion — is vanilla JavaScript running on your device.
Your IP address is used to look up an approximate city and is never written to any log or database by this application. The lookup happens against a local file on the server; no third-party geolocation service is contacted.
If you pick a location manually, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage and stays on your device. Clearing it is a single click on the home page: Use my timezone. Theme and 12/24-hour preferences are stored the same way. There are no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts.
